About Us

We take great pleasure in welcoming you to PolityIndia.com - a website dedicated to the people of India to discuss Political, Economic and Social issues having a tangible impact on India.

I also dedicate this website to my Late father Govind Sharan, who unfortunately, passed away at a very young age and when I was only three years old. May his soul rest in peace.

Punyatma Sharan is the Founder/CEO of the website. He has a BA (Political Science) from India and an MBA (Finance) from St.John's University, New York. His professional experience includes working for Chase Manhattan Bank in New York as a Financial Analyst and also as a consultant to some companies which includes Countrywide Financial and Toyota Corporation. He was also an elected member of Patna University Student's Union and many of his friends and contemporaries from the student days are in active politics and are also MP's, MLA's, Ministers etc. He is very proud of some of them and unfortunately, totally dismayed with others.

This is the motivation to start PolityIndia.com to discuss the actions of those politicians in our national polity who have totally deviated from the path of service and are making the condition of our country's political health very weak. We are not in any way affiliated with any political party or any group. This gives us the objectivity to be fair and unbiased.

We would very much appreciate all the feedback from you. It would help us to chart the future path of the website. We appreciate your support and encouragement.

All communication with us should be done using the Contact Us link.

Thanks,

Entire team of PolityIndia.com
